Missions:
The mission consists in having a key role in the consulting projects of GH Aviation Consulting in a dynamic team under the lead of an experienced aviation consultant. This is a unique experience to discover the world of consulting on a subject that is key for the transition of the aerospace industry in a small company with startup spirit (coworking space, small team, new ways of working…).
Here are examples of activities to be handled by the apprentice:
• Fuel effiency projects: reducing fuel consumption is the first concrete and tangible step towards the net zero objective. Bring an impactful contribution to projects with major airlines
* Carbon emission reporting: contribute to put in place a label enabling to better inform the end customers about the emissions related to their flight tickets
Depending on work/school periods, the apprentice will be focussing either on backoffice work (supporting the rest of the team) or customer facing roles.
Set-up:
- Start-up setup: coworking space in HarryCow (Toulouse city center), 2 days per week home working possible
- Salary close to SMIC level including ticket restaurants (1200 to 1300 EUR net) in Contrat d'Apprentissage, a bit less in Contrat de Professionalisation*
(*) As the government subsidies policy is currently announced to be modified, there are some uncertainties on the possibility to offer this type of contract.
Profile:
• Enthusiastic and positive minded
• Appetite for data analysis, research: "no fear of Excel" required, Python experience or equivalent (R) is a plus
• Problem solving, Customer minded
• Good presentation skills, verbal and written: nice powerpoint slides are key in the consulting business
• Knowledge or experience in aircraft performance & eonomics modelling is a plus
• Creativity and openness is mandatory!
